Meet the Team

David Phaure - Director (Owner)

David graduated from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London in 1999 and worked as a professional actor for four years before founding Sonnets in January 2003.

Sonnets has provided drama, singing and dance to over 50 state schools. Our focus is to provide high quality classes at affordable prices in Sonnets part-time Performing Arts schools in the Hampshire, Wiltshire and Berkshire area.

David is the Drama and Singing Instructor for Sonnets and is the LAMDA and Voice Coach for a Private School in Romsey.

He also runs the 'Andover Factor' and 'The Mayors Variety Show' in Andover each year. This gives children the chance to participate and perform to an audience, and these events have helped to discover raw talent in young people locally and give them the opportunity to take part and work as a team to put on a show.

Dave's aim is to make performing arts affordable for all and to help children either to become a professional artist or gain valuable life skills, all children are given equal opportunity to perform from beginners to the most talented.

David has a current CRB disclosure check and is Sonnets First Aider.
